Hello my friends,
the other day I received this letter from Chris Cooke where he announced the free give away of his latest booklet. Inside this booklet you find some of the most valuable information on how to practice and he gives you five steps to rapid musical progress.
So I’ld like to share this with you for you musical benefit and progress.
The explained steps are:
Rome wasn’t built in a day!
After quite some time of absence I am back working on YOUCANTRUSTYOUREARS.COM.
Finally I can present you a new tool – Chord Finder in my music theory toolbox: Chord Finder retrieves chords that match any selected scale!
Select out of 32 western-scales and 72 Melakarta Ragas, and find matches out of 1008 different Chords (84 types x 12 keys).
The sequence outlines the main seven chords found in the major scale
IVMaj7 – VIImin7(b5) -IIImin7 – VImin7 – IImin7 – V7 – IMaj7
(in the key of C: FMaj7 – Bmin7b5 – Emin7 – Amin7 – Dmin7 – G7 – CMaj7)
It is played in all 12 keys around the Circle of 4th (the root motion moves in diatonic fourths), starting in the key of C.
Everything explained in DIATONIC HARMONY.
This is a very pleasant exercise to get accustomed with the diatonic sound and the circle movements.
